The le coq sportif Cycling Tour will take place in and around the Pretoria and Rustenburg area as from the 15th of June 2012 to the 24th of June 2012. In a format that's new to the South African cycling scene, the event will include a three-day mountain bike tour and a five-day road cycle tour which includes a one-day "race for all" on the 24th and MTB fun rides on the 16th and 17th of June 2012. Riders may enter either the MTB tour or the road tour or both.


All category winners will wear the following leaders jerseys.

Leader Jersey - Male leader jersey
Vets 30 -39
Vets 40+

Leader Jersey - Female leader jersey (Mountain bike tour only)

Leader Jersey - U23 & Junior leader jersey

Leader Jersey - Masters leader jersey

Leader Jersey - Most aggresive leader jersey (Road tour only)

Veteran Jersey - Veteran leader jersey mountain bike

Sprinter Jersey - Elite, Vets 30-39 & Vets 40+

King of the mountain - Elite, Vets 30-39 & Vets 40+
